Praia do Almoxarife: Volcanic Sands and Island Relaxation Guide
Escape to Praia do Almoxarife, a beautiful black sand beach located on Faial Island in the Azores, Portugal. Swimming and sunbathing are the most popular, but you can also try windsurfing, kayaking, or paddleboarding. There are several restaurants and cafes located near the beach, offering delicious Azorean cuisine and refreshing drinks. The beach is also a great place to watch the sunset, with the silhouette of Pico Mountain providing a stunning backdrop.
